Cobblestones started as a three-piece acoustic trio in June of 1999 going by the name of BitterMuse. In December of 1999 a rhythm section was added that changed the path of BitterMuse. To reflect the new style, BitterMuse became Cobblestones..
Cobblestones is one of the only bands in Richmond to play for over 300 people at Sine's Irish Pub.
Their influences include Metallica, Foo Fighters, Garbage, No Doubt, Natalie Merchant, and Pat Benentard.
